I haven't heard of any conferences like this in Ontario either. Vermi-composting is increasing in popularity here and I think a conference like this would go over very well

Hi Howard,

I wish there was a conference like this in Colorado, too!

I don't have any experience with European nightcrawlers, but these posts don't mention any issues with crossbreeding:
http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/verm/msg0318121116813.html
http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/verm/msg1223343128182.html

Both are in the same genus, so it wouldn't surprise me if they did, but I'm not sure.

Hope this helps.

I wish we had something like this up here in Maine. Ive been raising and selling red worms and euro nightcrawlers for two years now and still could use some education. Does any body know if you can put red worms and euros together and will they intebreed. If so what do you get.
